The Parish Council is the Burial Authority for the Parish and pays for the grass and hedges here to be cut and is also responsible for the maintenance and management of all of the trees in the cemetery.
Please contact the Clerk if you wish to purchase a burial or ashes plot. Contact details are available at the top of this page.
Provision of a bus shelter for Silt Road
Our next goal is to try and secure funding for in the region of £5,000.00 for a bus shelter for the school children who are collected and dropped off at Silt Road. We applied to the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk's Community Infrastructure Levy fund in January of this year but were unsuccessful. There will be another opportunity to apply in July 2022 so we remain hopeful that we might be successful before the end of 2022; watch this space!
Provision of further footway lighting for the High Street & Coronation Avenue
We are aware that there is insufficient footway lighting along the High Street from the Village Hall up to the bridge and none at all at Coronation Avenue. The Parish Council will be applying for funding again this year to try and resolve this.
